The Syrian Arab army on Saturday december 7/2013 resumed its national duty in hunting the armed mercenary-terrorist groups in different Syrian cities.
Army achieves new progress in Idleb
A military source told SANA that the army units have achieved new progress near Abu al-Dohour Airport in Idleb countryside.
The source said that large numbers of terrorists were killed in the areas of Um Jreen, al-Hamidyeh, Maarat-masareen, Baya’at al-Sukhna, Abu Jora, Baya’at al-Dandash and al-Ja’kyeh in Idleb countryside.
An army unit killed 4 terrorists and injured others and destroyed a number of vehicles equipped with machineguns on Idleb-al-Mastouma road.
In Harem city, a number of terrorists were killed after clashed erupted between two terrorist groups. Terrorists Ahmad al-Shaker and Mohammad Samir Aliko were identified among the dead.
The source said that an army unit eliminated the members of an armed terrorist group, adding that the terrorists were planting explosive devices on al-Mastouma-al-Qarmed Factroy road.
Two explosive devices weighing about 45 kg were dismantled on the same road, the source said.
Jabhet al-Nusra terrorists killed in Lattakia
The army units eliminated members of armed terrorist groups, many of them of the Tunisian and Pakistani nationalities, in Lattakia countryside.
A military source told SANA that the army eliminated the members of an armed terrorist group in the town of Kanasba and destroyed three vehicles, one of which was loaded with rockets. Among the killed terrorists were Mohammad al-Tallal, Abdo al-Ashra, Abdul-Majeed al-Fadli and Majed al-Majbour.
A number of terrorists were also killed in the town of al-GHaneema, a warehouse containing rockets, mines, explosive devices and three vehicles equipped with heavy machineguns was destroyed in the same area. Terrorists Abu Ibrahim al-Lazikani, Abu Anas al-Jiblawi and Abdullah al-Haffar were identified among the dead.
In the towns of al-Mazyan and al-Bashoura, the army destroyed an ammunition and mines warehouse along with 11 vehicles loaded with weapons and ammunition and killed scores of terrorists, among them were Abu Khaled al-Saraqibi, Abu Mohammad al-Jezrawi, Suleiman al-Khaled, in addition to the Tunisian terrorists Abu Turab and Abu Salem, of the leaders of Jabhet al-Nusra in Lattakia northern countryside.
Meanwhile, the army units destroyed a terrorists’ hideout in the town of al-Hour and eliminated a number of terrorists, among them was the Pakistani terrorist Hased Abdul-Rasoul, one of the leaders of “al-Muhajireen Battalion” which is affiliated to Jabhet al-Nusra.
Army kills non-Syrian terrorists, advances in various area in Damascus Countryside
Army units made a progress in chasing the terrorists towards Rima farms to the southwest of al-Nabek city in Damascus Countryside, an official source told SANA reporter.
The army soldiers destroyed two of the terrorists’ cars loaded with weapons and ammunition and a 23 mm caliber anti-aircraft gun in the area, in addition to killing many of the terrorists. Thaer al-Ghoutani, Mohammad Radiyeh and Hssan Kouzan were identified among the dead.
Other army units, the source added, clashed with terrorist groups in Maaloula town, leaving many of their members dead and injured.
Meanwhile, the eastern Ghouta witnessed “successful intensive operations” in which a large number of terrorists were killed and many others were injured in al-Dubleh and Deir Salman towns, according to the source.
The terrorists’ weapons and ammunition were destroyed in the operations.
Other units of the armed forces advanced in the towns of al-Bahariyeh, al-Abbadeh, al-Ghreifeh and al-Qissa after they destroyed many of the terrorists’ dens and killed several of them. Mohammad Ahmad al-Madi was among the dead.
A terrorists’ gathering was destroyed in Erbin, while a den containing an amount of weapons and ammunition was destroyed in al-Ebb farms in the framework of special operations that resulted in the killing of a number of terrorists, including Marwan Eyoun.
An army unit clashed with an armed terrorist group on Zamalka axis, killing most of its members, including Bassel Rabei’.
In Harasta city, an army unit hunted down members of an armed terrorist group to the east of the Police Hospital and killed two of its members. Those are Wasef Khalid and Mohammad al-Bernawi.
A number of other terrorists were killed in Joubar neighborhood.
Clashes also erupted with terrorist groups in Daraya city in which the army units killed and injured many of the groups’ members.
In the meantime, a number of terrorists were ambushed in the western mountains of al-Zabadani city as many of them were killed. Ahmad Fateh Abo Qutadeh from Libya and Hamzeh al-Rashed from Saudi Arabia were identified among the dead.
In Damascus city, an RPG launcher was destroyed and the shooter was killed alogn with a number of other terrorists in Talet al-Mestah in Barzeh neighborhood.
Terrorists Mehi-Eddin Skaf and Mohammad Serioul were among the dead.
The army kills terrorists in Aleppo
Units of the army eliminated terrorists who were trying to attack al-Kindi hospital in Aleppo, destroying their criminal equipment.
A military source told SANA that a big number of terrorists were killed or injured at the towns of Handarat, al-Khanat , al-Nakareen and Khan al-Assal.
The source added that the army destroyed a number of cars loaded with weapons at al-Kastello, near Aleppo central prison. Other army units clashed with terrorists in the neighborhoods of Salah al-Din, al-Zibdiya in the old city, killing scores of terrorists there.
Army eliminates terrorists in several areas in Homs
The army continued operations against the armed terrorist groups in many areas in Homs city, killing numbers of them and destroying their weapons and ammunitions.
The army units killed and injured scores of terrorists during operations in the neighborhoods of al-Qusour, Bab Houd, al-Khaldyeh outskirt and al-Dar al-Kabera.

Army units eliminated terrorist gatherings in al-Masnhiye, al-Hamadin and al-Mukhayam areas in Daraa city.
Another army unit clashed with terrorists who attempted to attack a military checkpoint in the town of Nawa, eliminating most of the terrorists including Naiim Fandi al-Sharqawi.
Terrorist rocket attack claims citizen’s life, injures other in Mhardeh, Hama
A terrorist rocket attack on the residential area of al-Zalaqiyat in Mhardeh city in Hama province claimed the life of one citizen and injured another.
A source at the Police Command told SANA’s correspondent that a rocket shell fired by terrorists fell near the Cultural Center in the city, claiming one life, injuring a woman, and causing material damage to the Center and a number of parked cars.
