The 9 / 11 /2001 attack timing is significant in itself . It puts things in their right place and answers many questions . This attack on the two towers happened after the victorious Lebanese Resistance – as a result of 16 years of armed struggle and hundreds of martyrs – succeeded in driving out the Israelis and in liberating the land ending 18 years of Israeli occupation . The Israeli defeat and withdrawal happened without any concession on behalf of Hizbullah in the first Arab victory that was ever achieved over the Zionist predators and their local and international clientele . This was a stunning victory of one kind . The defeated Israelis withdrew carrying their wounds and leaving behind them many tanks and weapons and many of their local agents of whom they wanted to get rid .
The victorious Sayyed of the Resistance , God bless his soul, offered this victory to the Lebanese people and to all people, and addressed the Palestinians saying that if the Liberation of Lebanon has been achieved , this means that the Liberation of Palestine is possible the same way the Liberation of Lebanon was possible, and that Israel was subject to defeat and was weaker than a spider’s web adding that the time of defeats is over and the era of victories has started . When Sayyed finished his speech the second Palestinian Intifada was about to start in Palestine . Inspired by the Lebanese victory and determined to win, the various Palestinian factions started their 2nd Intifada in September 2000 few months after Israelis were evicted from Lebanon . This was a good timing because the Israelis were exhausted after this war with Lebanon that was very costly at all levels and which the Israelis had lost for the first time .
The first year of Intifada was the most prolific and active, the Palestinians hit at all fronts- whether the West Bank or Gaza or Jerusalem – hitting and being hit and subjugating the enemy . All factions joined: whether HAMAS or Jihad or Fateh or other. Many casualties fell among the Israelis .. The Intifada gained unanimous support from Arabs and Muslims and also from other supporters around the world and Israel became highly exposed at all levels and on all fronts The victory was two steps ahead, and Israel about to be significantly defeated when 9/11 happened . This unhappy event was to save Israel from a certain defeat and introduce US as a direct player in the Arab/ Israeli struggle where Israel had failed and was about to be defeated again . Instead of Israel it was US that became threatened by terrorists of al Qa’ida in a seemingly staged event that will turn US into another Israel that needed to defend its security .When the struggle shifted thus, terrorism replaced the Resistance and the war took different labels after Israel was no more qualified to monitor this struggle .This had for effect to inhibit the Palestinian Intifada and to implicate US directly in the Arab/ Israeli struggle.Hitting the White House and the Pentagon and New York Trade Center worked their effect, and the world rallied against terrorists and terrorism , against Arabs and Muslims. Islam became exposed as a result .All the subsequent events will have the same goal of targeting the armed Resistance of Hizbullah and protecting the World Order and Israel starting from the war on Iraq that fueled sectarian and religious hatred and bred terrorism, and not ending with the assassination of Hariri and the summer 2006 war and the Arab Spring that promoted agendas of regime changes and social unrest at the expense of the Arab/Israeli struggle.
Thus, in 9/11 started the war on the Lebanese Resistance because the World Order felt that this Resistance was going to create a new equation in favor of forces inimical to Israel and the United States , and , after more than a decade the chapters of this war are still unfolding.
