Former Saudi intelligence chief Prince Turki al-Faisal has sent a letter to the so-called “Israel Peace Conference”, calling on the Zionist entity to adopt the Arab peace initiative.
“Arab 48 Website” reported on Sunday that al-Faisal was talking in the letter about the profits which the Zionist entity could attain if it agrees to consider the initiative.
The Website said that al-Faisal was wooing the Zionist entity in his letter, as he mentioned the name of Palestinian city of Hebron in its both Arabic and the Hebrew languages.
Al-Faidal also voiced readiness to visit al-Aqsa Mosque’s Western Wall and the Yad Vashem Museum which is considered as a memorial to the victims of the Holocaust, the Palestinian website noted.
“Imagine if I could fly directly from Riyadh to al-Quds. Imagine if I could ride a bus or a taxi to go to the Sakhra (Rock) Mosque or al-Aqsa Mosque,” al-Faisal said in the letter reportedly.
“Imagine the developments which would take place on the levels of trade, medicine, sciences and culture between the people,” al-Faisail said, adding: “I hope the efforts of the Peace Conference will lead to clarify the view of peace which can be achieved when the Arab initiative becomes a cornerstone.”
The Saudi prince also hoped that he can “take part in such conference, and that the Israelis can also take part in similar meetings in Riyadh which tackle the possibility to work together in order to solve the controversial issues which we face.”
The letter comes at a time the Zionist entity launches a violent crackdown on Palestinians, killing at least 12 of them and detaining many others.
Mohammed Abu Khder, 16, is one of the latest Palestinian martyrs. He was kidnapped and burned alive by the Israeli occupation forces last Wednesday.
