US Senator John McCain disagrees with researchers claiming that 40 percent the Syrian rebels are extremists. He says that it’s untrue because he has met them all.

M. Klostermayr Syrian government could call for a ceasefire in Geneva.
The hawkish U.S. Senator John McCain, already known for his support for the armed terrorist and jihadist forces on Syrian soil and also as a
similar liar like John Kerry, said in new statements that the recent British study on the armed terrorist groups fighting in Syria would be false because the “opposition forces” in Syria are not really extremists.
The U.S. Senator McCain, a supporter of the plan about a US-led military attack against Syria, said that the recent study from Britain, which has asserted that jihadists and extremists are now the majority among the “opposition forces” in Syria, would be “not true.” The British study on the terrorists fighting in Syria was released in this week by the defense consultancy IHS Jane’s. This new study said clearly that the “opposition forces” fighting in Syria against the mainly secular government of President Bashar al-Assad are now mainly dominated by extremist groups and religious fanatics.
However, John McCain knows it better, of course. The hawkish Senator from the United States said in a speech at The Council on Foreign Relations that the
study would be untrue and completely false because there would be still around “70 percent who are Free Syrian Army.” Yes, indeed. McCain stated in his speech at The Council on Foreign Relations that there´s still “about 70 percent still who are Free Syrian Army.”
Of course, this claim by U.S. Senator McCain is false and a pure lie. However, as a guy who has already met with armed terrorists in Syria, it is probably to understand that John McCain, supporting these jihadists, wants to maintain the image of a secular rebellion against the evil regime of al-Assad. And what would Americans think of when they hear that US Senator John McCain met with Al-Qaeda-linked terrorists in Syria and even supports those religious fanatics in their armed struggle for a strange jihad and to establish an Islamist state?
While the hawkish Senator and liar John McCain
claimed that 70 percent of the fighting terrorists in Syria would still belong to the criminals of the “Free Syrian Army” (FSA) and stated that these guys are no “extremists”, the recently published study from Britain said clearly that only around 30 percent of the armed terrorists are “not extremists.” However, this does not mean that they are also no criminals or perpetrators of crimes on Syrian soil.
Further, the mentioned percentage is interesting here. 70 percent of the fighting guys in Syria are no extremists for John McCain, while around 30 percent of these “Syrian rebels” are “no extremists” for the
British study. One might assume that John McCain has simply invented a percentage in relation to the details mentioned in the British study.
And while the Americans hear again some more lies by John McCain, the Syrian Deputy Prime Minister Jamil Qadril said that the government of President Bashar al-Assad
may propose a ceasefire in case the long-delayed Geneva-2 peace conference will take place. It is not yet known when the next international peace conference on Syria will really take place in Geneva. However, it might be that the Geneva-2 conference could take place at the end of October or in November. This all depends on the agreements between Russia and the United States, but there are still some differences in the opinion about such a new conference in Geneva.
Syria’s Deputy Prime Minister said that the Syrian government of President al-Assad
will call for“an end to external intervention, a ceasefire and the launching of a peaceful political process in a way that the Syrian people can enjoy self-determination without outside intervention and in a democratic way” at the proposed international peace conference in Geneva. He added that the government in Damascus may also call for a ceasefire at the Geneva-2 conference. The ceasefire in Syria has then to be monitored by international forces – UN peacekeepers, for example.
According to the recent statements by the Syrian Deputy Prime Minister Qadril Jamil, the Syrian conflict has reached a stalemate and none of the sides is able to win the war on Syrian soil or has the power to end the conflict that is taking place for more than two years. Jamil added in his recent remarks about the Syrian conflict and the situation in the Arab country that the crisis has already inflicted catastrophic damages on the Syrian economy and explained that Syria has lost some USD 100 billion due to the ongoing conflict.
